    Siemens Energy & Automation

    Siemens makes industrial high voltage, molded case, insulated, miniature (mini), and residential electrical circuit breakers, including their Sentron molded case breakers which are UL 489 rated, 125A to 2000A.Their residential types include arc-fault interrupters, thermal magnetic circuit breakers, and ground-fault (gfi, gfci) circuit interrupters. Siemens is also the original designer and manufacturer of ITE Bulldog and Pushmatic circuit breaker products. Transformers are also available.

  • Altech

    Altech makes many types of electrical circuit breakers that are UL508, UL489, and UL1077 rated such as their UL 489 miniature (mini) molded case circuit breakers, rated at 63A, 240VAC and 32A/480Y/277VAC. They also make FI Earth leakage circuit breakers using 10mA and 30mA fault current ratings for ground-fault protection (gfi, gfci) and 300mA rating for fire prevention and equipment protection. Industrial circuit breakers are available in AC and DC models. Panel mount busbar systems are available.

  • ABB

    ABB makes generator circuit breakers and high, medium, and low voltage industrial electrical circuit breakers. Their generator breakers operate from 60 to 1500MW while their dead tank high voltage breakers operate up to 800kV. Their low-voltage circuit breakers include miniature, residual, air circuit, and molded case breakers. Also available are air, high performance and molded case circuit breakers. ABB makes special versions of 1150 V AC circuit breakers and 100 V DC switch-disconnectors, as well as offering replacement circuit breakers and transformers. Their panel mount OS fuse switches range up to 400A. Their IEC vacuum mechanical circuit breaker with magnetic actuator is used for medium voltage applications. Commercial, oil and minimum oil circuit breakers are also available.

  • Blue Sea Systems

    Blue Sea Systems makes AC and DC electrical circuit breakers using toggle, rocker, and push-button actuators, as well as a Residual Current Rocker circuit breaker available with one pole (15A/5mA leakage trip) or two poles (30A/30mA leakage trip) with interrupt ratings of 5000A AC. Circuit breaker lockout slides and panel mount circuit breakers (with on/off rocker switches) are also available. The PN 1119 is a 12 Volt DC 20 position/230 Volt AC main panel.

  • MP Mechanical Products

    MP Mechanical Products makes thermal circuit breakers for equipment including switchable circuit breakers from 0.1-40 amps and push-to-reset breakers from 0.5 to 70 amps. Their MP Series 24 switchable electrical breaker is tested up to 50,000 switching cycles and is rated 250VAC/50VDC.

    Carling Technologies makes hydraulic/magnetic, thermal, and equipment leakage circuit breakers with their thermal models using push-to-reset, pushbutton, and rocker actuators and operate from 3-40 amps up to 250VAC and meet UL1500, CSA, TUV, and CE certifications.

  • Weidmuller

    Weidmuller makes DIN rail mounted electrical circuit breakers for uses where it is necessary to distinguish between short circuits and circuit overloads. These circuit breakers can be reset without changing components and are available with a variety of marking tags and jumpers.

    CBI Electric makes equipment circuit breakers, molded case (thermal magnetic and hydraulic magnetic) circuit breakers, miniature circuit breakers, and air circuit breakers which have a maximum voltage of 690VAC and interrupt capacity up to 50kA while their miniature circuit breakers come in various frame types including QA, QF, QL, QY/QDC, and QZ.

  • Eaton (Cutler Hammer)

    Eaton (Cutler Hammer) makes a very wide line of electrical circuit breakers, including low, medium, and high-voltage breakers, and transformers. Their miniature circuit breakers are available from 15A to 50A in Bolt-on, cable-in/cable-out, and plug-on types, with ground protection (gfi, gfci) at 5mA or 30mA. Their industrial medium voltage generator circuit breakers come in 5/15kv drawout or fixed models. Enclosed circuit breakers are rated 15 – 400 amperes, 600V AC, 500V DC. Circuit breaker lockout prevents transfer if breaker trips. Eaton continues to manufacture and support Pre-Series C circuit breakers with their direct replacement Pre-Series C molded case circuit breakers. Fire-Guard arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCI) and panel mount fuse holders are also available. Eaton manufactures vacuum and air circuit breakers, and transfer switches. Commercial circuit breakers are available.

  • Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation)

    Allen-Bradley makes industrial DIN rail circuit breakers and residual electrical high density miniature (mini) circuit breakers, as well as UL489 listed circuit breakers with ranges of 10 to 100A at 120/240VAC and transformers. DC circuit protectors are also available. A sturdy lockout attachment may be added to a circuit breaker. Some circuit breakers mount on DIN rail or panel mount. AB makes a non-reversing vacuum circuit breaker type and disconnect switches as well.

  • E-T-A

    E-T-A makes thermal, thermal-magnetic, and hydraulic-magnetic industrial circuit breakers in single or multipole models with assorted mounting options and actuators. Models come in AC and DC. The new E-T-A 3131 combined switch and thermal overcurrent circuit breaker provides snap-in, panel mount, single pole protection. E-T-A Circuit Breakers has introduced a new combined switch and circuit breaker for push-fit mounting in switch panels. High voltage circuit breakers are available.

  • Controlled Power

    Controlled Power makes the HSN and FBK DC electrical circuit breakers as well as the high voltage HVF 38kV AC circuit breaker, which is also available in 40Ka rating while their FBK breaker is available in continuous current ratings of 1600, 2500, 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000, and 12000. Electrical lockout is available upon request. Controlled Power also offers replacement circuit breakers. Their CP Type HSN circuit breaker unit can consist of either a wheeled truck and housing or be a panel mount type.

  • GE (General Electric)

    GE makes residential, miniature, molded case, AKRU, insulated case, low-voltage, medium-voltage, and DC high-speed circuit breakers. Their industrial Power Break II insulated case breakers come in 200 - 400A frames rated up to 200,000 amps RMS/40VAC, while their Record Plus molded case breakers comes in both thermal magnetic trip and electronic trip models. Bell Alarms with lockout kits for 800–2000 ampere EntelliGuard models are available. GE offers replacement kits for SF style breakers. Arc fault, panel mount and commercial circuit breakers are also available. GE makes Power Vac vacuum circuit breakers, fused switches and transformers as well. Their LVPCB is often referred to as an air circuit breaker. Tenant main circuit breakers are available for 125 Amp sockets.

    Tyco Electronics makes compact and standard size magnetic circuit breakers and thermal circuit breakers with an interrupt capacity of 1,000A at 125/250VAC, and  32/50VDC and 2,000A at 50VDC. Actuator styles include push to reset, push/pull, rocker, and toggle styles.

  • Sensata Technologies

    Sensata makes Airpax circuit breakers with types including thermal and hydraulic-magnetic, with push-to-reset, toggle, rocker, and push-pull actuators. Their ATR30 series thermal protectors have an interrupting capacity of 1000amp and current and voltage ratings from 5.0 to 35 amps at 120/250VAC 50/60Hz or 50VDC.

    Square D makes many types of commercial and industrial electrical circuit breakers including low-voltage, molded case, medium-voltage, and insulated types. Their miniature (mini) circuit breakers are available in 120V, 120/240V, 240V, and 480Y/277VAC and in up to 125VDC systems, with 1, 2, and 3-pole models. Their 35 to 125 Amp circuit breakers are suitable for use with 75°C conductors. Square D also manufactures HomeLine circuit breakers. QOU breakers are used for overcurrent protection and switching on both AC and DC systems. Square D offers replacement options as well. Combination arc fault circuit breakers are UL-listed. Maintenance requirements are minimized with the use of enclosed long-life vacuum interrupters for the VR circuit breaker. Oil circuit breakers, transformers and switches are also available.

  • Schneider Electric

    Schneider Electric manufactures miniature (mini), molded case, motor, direct current (DC), and Masterpact Universal Power circuit breakers. Other protection products include ground-fault (gfi, gfci) and UL 1077 supplementary protectors. Schneider is the original manufacturer of Merlin Gerin circuit breakers. They now offer these same Merlin Gerin products under the Schneider Electric name and logo. Oil circuit breakers are also available.
